Basically, in the eastern region, the tendency is how to waterproofing and damp treatment are done with a nominal cost.

In the eastern region, there seems to be a mindset that waterproofing and damp proofing treatments should be done at a very low cost or even for free. This approach can lead to several issues:-

However, non-branded or generic construction chemicals or industrial chemicals can be just as good as branded ones, as they often:-

Previous 60/70 years back,when Construction Chemicals have not arrived. How can they Waterproofing and Damp proofing treatment be done ?

Before the advent of modern construction chemicals, waterproofing and damp proofing treatments were done using traditional methods and materials, such as:-
1. Natural materials:- Plant-based materials like tar, pitch, and resin were used to waterproof surfaces.
2. Lime-based mixes:- Lime was mixed with water and other natural materials to create a waterproofing paste.
3. Beeswax and oil-based treatments:- Beeswax and oil-based mixtures were applied to surfaces to repel water.
4. Brickbat and cement pointing:- Brickbat (broken brick pieces) and cement were used to fill gaps and joints to prevent water ingress.
5. Slate and lead flashing:- Slate and lead were used as flashing materials to direct water away from buildings.
6. Bituminous coatings:- Bitumen (asphalt) was used as a waterproofing coating for roofs and walls.

Some customers say that it is not required by us to educate and awareness regarding waterproofing treatment. Because, in so far we will not come in this trade. It is your job. You please educate properly for customers satisfaction for pretty long years. Why ?
